GOT1 and diabetes mellitus: After controlling for other potential risk factors including: comorbidities (CPD, diabetes, CVD, HTN, Aids/HIV, Smoking status), DBP at baseline, recent use of NSAIDS and oral steroids, and baseline lab values (hemoglobin, WBC, lymphocytes, neutrophils, hematocrit, platelets, ALT/SGPT, bilirubin, AST/SGOT, glucose, BUN, creatinine, sodium, potassium, CRP, d-dimer, and ferritin, lactate dehydrogenase) there was no significant difference in the change in the composite COVID ordinal scale from baseline to day 14 and day 28 based on the treatment group (p = 0.32 and p = 0.31, respectively).
