AKAP1 and gastric cancer: Li et al. (2017) found that miR-148a-3p enhanced the resistance of GC cells to cisplatin by promoting mitochondrial fission and reducing the expression levels of A-Kinase anchoring protein 1 (AKAP1) and DRP1 dephosphorylation. miR-30 was significantly overexpressed in GC tissues and cell lines, and miR-30 inhibition decreased mitochondrial oxygen consumption and activated mitochondria-mediated apoptosis (Wang et al., 2017).
