The KEGG results revealed that CRYAB-related genes enriched in “Alzheimer”s disease”, “Human cytomegalovirus infection”, “Hepatitis C”, “Apoptosis”, “Signaling pathways regulating pluripotency of stem cells”, “EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor resistance”, “Apoptosis—multiple species”, and “p53 signaling pathway” (Figure 8E). This evidence concerns the gene EGFR and early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease.
