AHNAK, as a good diagnostic marker [with AUC as 0.883 (P < 0.001) in the diagnosis of CHB, 0.885 (P < 0.001) in the diagnosis of compensatory liver cirrhosis, 0.955 (P < 0.001) in the diagnosis of decompensated liver cirrhosis, and 0.981 (P < 0.001) in the diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma], has been identified in our previous research (13). Here, AHNAK is linked to hepatocellular carcinoma.
