RHOA and diabetic kidney disease: Research revealed that Everolimus, an inhibitor of mTOR remodeled aberrant podocyte behavior by substantial increase of RHOA activity and enhanced actin stress fibers (Jeruschke et al., 2013), suggesting that RHOA was involved in the regulation of mTOR signaling pathway, and the potential roles in DKD pathogenesis was preliminarily elucidated in our network analysis study.
