Based on these laboratory findings, which included variations in some hematological inflammatory indices and biochemical markers, we highly suggest using hepatic biomarkers such as AST (aspartate aminotransferase), ALP (alkaline phosphatase), ALT (alanine aminotransferase), and albumin (ALB) in combination with bacteria data, notably in the diagnostic process and follow-up of brucellosis [28]. The gene discussed is ALB; the disease is brucellosis.
