IDH1/2 mutations have been found in glioma, acute myelogenous leukemia (AML), chondrosarcoma, cholangiocarcinoma, and T-cell angioimmunoblastic lymphoma, as well as in colorectal and prostate cancers, with IDH1 R132H and IDH2 R140Q the frequently observed mutations (Ward et al., 2013). This evidence concerns the gene IDH1 and cholangiocarcinoma.
