CAFs, isolated from the same breast cancer as reported [39] and served as positive control, showed a remarkably high expression of αSMA and FSP1 (Fig. 2A and B, 5th and 6th bar), whereas CD29 was only upregulated in CAFs isolated from patients with obesity, similar to ob-aT bASCs (Fig. 2C, 3th and 6th bars). The gene discussed is ACTA1; the disease is obesity due to melanocortin 4 receptor deficiency.
