KRT14 and psoriasis: To that aim, we performed co-housing and fecal microbial transplantation (FMT) experiments using K14-VEGF transgenic mice, which develop an inflammatory condition resembling human psoriasis and are widely used as a model for studying psoriasis.16,17 We found that the intestinal microbiota of mice with a dramatic psoriasiform phenotype aggravated the psoriasis-like phenotype of mild pre-psoriatic mice.
