To determine the role of intestinal microbiota in the pathogenesis of psoriasis, gentamicin was used to reduce the abundance of Prevotella. This intervention alleviated the pathogenesis of psoriasis-like symptoms in K14-VEGF mice and IMQ-treat mice, including skin inflammation, Th17 infiltration in skin, and Th17 differentiation in DLNs by reducing the abundance of Prevotella and increasing the abundance of Parabacteroides distasonis. Here, VEGFA is linked to psoriasis.
