In addition, western blot analyses showed that the expression of both angiogenic factors (VEGFA) and mesenchymal markers (MMP2 and MMP9), which are known as critical regulators of VM formation, was downregulated in miR‐143‐3p mimic‐transfected L1‐overexpressing and vector control groups in these three glioma cell lines (Fig. 4G,H), indicating that miR‐143‐3p could reverse L1‐mediated VM formation by regulating VEGFA, MMP2, and MMP9 expression in different glioma cell lines.
