Therefore, we performed methylation analysis of 51 PYAGs and showed that AIM2, CASP1, CASP8, GSDMC and NLRP6 exhibited hypomethylation in ovarian cancer, which may provide a new theory to explore the methylation of above five genes to improve potential antitumor efficacy of OC. The gene discussed is CASP8; the disease is ovarian carcinoma.
