The results showed that the mutation rates in hepatocellular carcinoma, bladder urothelial carcinoma, ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma, lung squamous cell carcinoma, and colorectal adenocarcinoma were all higher than 6%; the mutation rate of DEFA6 in CRC ranked fifth in pancreatic cancer, mainly was deep deletion (Figure 8A). This evidence concerns the gene DEFA6 and colorectal adenocarcinoma.
