Among the differentially expressed proteins, there were proteins involved either in the neurogenic process (e.g. GDF11) or in Alzheimer’s disease (e.g. LRRK2, RCAN1, NTRK2), or in both neurogenesis and Alzheimer’s disease (e.g. CREBBP, SFRP1, IL1RAP). This evidence concerns the gene SFRP1 and Alzheimer disease.
