In this study, we further revealed that targeting autophagy by inhibiting lysosome function with HCQ can sensitize KL NSCLC, but not KP NSCLC, to MEK inhibitor Trametinib, suggesting that LKB1 mutations could be explored as a predictive biomarker for precision lung cancer therapy using autophagy inhibitors. This evidence concerns the gene MAP2K7 and lung carcinoma.
