KDM3A and Myocardial fibrosis: As a kind of histone demethylases, lysine-specific demethylase 3A (KDM3A) is actively-related to the modulation of cellular self-renewal, inflammatory responses, and gene expression in MI/RI development, such that the absence of KDM3A is associated with aggravated myocardial fibrosis, myocardial infarction, and myocardial hypertrophy [13].
