TNNI3 and myocardial infarction: The rats in the MI/RI group presented with reduced LVEF% and LVFS% (Figure 1a, p < 0.05), disturbed myocardial fiber arrangement, localized degeneration, rupture, cardiomyocyte edema, and inflammatory cell infiltration (Figure 1b, p < 0.05), increased myocardial infarction area (Figure 1c, p < 0.05), in addition to elevated the levels of CK-MB, cTnI and serum LDH (Figure 1d, p < 0.05).
