However, no significant associations were found between the number of CD3+CD27-CD28- T cells in the leukapheresis product and the occurrence of i) cytokine release syndrome (CRS, r=0.1 and P=0.072), ii) clinical requirements for tocilizumab therapy (r=0.14 and P=0.51), or iii) long-term cytopenias (r=0.16 and P=0.57) (Spearman’s r-tests) in the present study. This evidence concerns the gene CD28 and congenital rubella syndrome.
