Given the success of MTL-CEBPA in clinical trials for advanced HCC, the drug has attracted interest as a novel therapeutic agent in other cancers, such as pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, for which saRNA targeting CEBPA has been reported to have anti-tumour effects both in vitro and in vivo.17,18.
