GO-MF analysis showed FDEGs association with mitogen-activated protein (MAP) kinase activity, phosphatase binding, protein serine/threonine/tyrosine kinase activity, NADP binding, etc. The top five enriched KEGG pathways for FDEGs were central carbon metabolism in cancer, Kaposi sarcoma-associated herpesvirus infection, VEGF signaling, human cytomegalovirus infection, and leishmaniasis (Figures 5A,B, Table 2). This evidence concerns the gene VEGFA and cancer.
