PBRM1 is involved in cell differentiation, proliferation and DNA repair in multiple cancers, including clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) (Aili et al., 2021; Chabanon et al., 2021), non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) (Zhou et al., 2020) and bladder cancer (BLCA) (Lu and Allis, 2017). This evidence concerns the gene PBRM1 and bladder transitional cell carcinoma.
