ALB and disseminated peritoneal leiomyomatosis: Interestingly, the albumin excretion in the Lim et al. (2011) study was greater in diabetic LPD than diabetic NPD offspring although it did not reach statistical significance, leading the authors to conclude that over a greater period of time the renal dysfunction associated with hyperglycemia may have been heightened in LPD offspring (Lim et al., 2011).
