T helper 17 cells (CD4-positive [CD4+] IL-17A+ and CD4+ IL-17F+), IL-17A- and IL-17F-producing CD8+ T cells, IL-17A-producing γδ T cells, and IL-17A-producing innate lymphoid cells (ILCs) were significantly increased in the skin samples 14 days after infection. Here, IL17A is linked to infection.
