In the C/EBPβ methylation assessment of 26 clinical samples (13 cervical cancer tissues and 13 corresponding normal cervical tissues), it found that the rate of methylation of CpG12, 13, 14 and CpG19 in cervical cancer tissues was significantly higher than in normal cervical tissue (Fig. 2, P < 0.05). Here, CEBPB is linked to cervical cancer.
