Although clinical trials have shown the safety and efficiency of BMMNC infusion for CP [10, 13–17] and neurological sequelae after TBI [8, 18–21], no studies have compared the correlation of the density of mononuclear cells (MNCs) and the percentage of CD34+ cells with different neurologic conditions, including cerebral palsy due to oxygen deprivation (OD), cerebral palsy related to neonatal icterus (NI), and neurological sequelae after TBI. This evidence concerns the gene CD34 and cerebral palsy.
