In conclusion, our results demonstrated interferon γ produced by Th1 cell participated in the formation of malignant ascites through suppressing the growth of the tumor and reducing peritoneal permeability in vivo, and CXCL9,10/ CXCR3 axis mediated the recruitment of Th1 cells into peritoneal cavity through visceral peritoneum (Fig. 6F).
