VEGFA, an important target for HCC, was generally highly expressed in Class II (Figure 3C), so we hypothesized that Class II was more malignant than Class I. GSEA analysis showed that the gene set based on GO (Figure 3E) and KEGG (Figure 3F), Class II exhibits enhanced cell cycle and cell division processes, as well as reduced metabolic processes (especially P450 enzyme metabolism). This evidence concerns the gene CYP2B6 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
