High expression of FA genes (FANCF D1/D2/I/J/N/S) has been demonstrated linked to poor prognosis in various cancers, including head and neck cancer (Verhagen et al., 2018), myeloid leukemia (Padella et al., 2021), liver cancer (Xu H. et al., 2021), lung cancer (Miao et al., 2022; Zhang et al., 2022), breast cancer (Fagerholm et al., 2013; Feng and Jin, 2019), cervical cancer (Liu et al., 2021), and ovarian cancer (Ding et al., 2016; Moes-Sosnowska et al., 2019).
