The defection of FA genes is associated with high incidences of cancers in patients, particularly those originating from hematopoietic and squamous cells, most commonly seen in acute myeloid leukemia, pancreatic cancer, solid tumors, cervical cancer, oral cancer, prostate cancer, bone marrow failure, breast cancer, and ovarian cancer (Nepal et al., 2017). Here, FANCA is linked to cervical cancer.
