Genetic testing of 1,342 ovarian cancer patients revealed that 176 patients had BRCA gene mutations, including 107 BRCA1 mutations and 67 BRCA2 mutations, and two mutations in both genes, accounting for 13.3% of the comprehensive mutation frequency (Kristeleit et al., 2022; Zhang et al., 2011). This evidence concerns the gene BRCA2 and ovarian carcinoma.
