Serum autoantibodies are crucial tools for the differential diagnosis of PBC and more than 60 autoantibodies have been detected in PBC patients, of which some have been considered to be PBC-specific and have been examined for their diagnostic utility and prognostic values, such as antiglycoprotein (anti-gp) 210, anti-sp100, and anti-centromere antibodies (ACA) (5–7). The gene discussed is SP100; the disease is primary biliary cholangitis.
