There was a significant effect of infection on the mRNA expression of GFAP [F(1,30) = 19.98, p < 0.001; Figure 4A], CD45 [F(1,30) = 21.44, p < 0.001; Figure 4B], CD86 [F(1,30) = 22.14, p < 0.001; Figure 4C], CD206 [F(1,30) = 20.10, p < 0.001; Figure 4D], IBA1 [F(1,30) = 30.28, p < 0.001; Figure 4E], TMEM119 [F(1,30) = 69.42, p < 0.001; Figure 4F], TREM2 [F(1,30) = 41.52, p < 0.001; Figure 4G], and CCL2 [F(1,30) = 18.06, p < 0.001; Figure 4H], such that expression was increased in T. gondii-infected mice compared to vehicle mice.
