Bone marrow transplantation on Ldlr−/− mice is widely used to study the role of blood‐borne immune cells in atherosclerosis.[1b] In this study, transplantation of Dpp4−/− bone marrow into Ldlr−/− mice significantly suppressed HFD‐induced atherosclerosis progression, accompanied by a reduced vascular infiltration of T cells. The gene discussed is LDLR; the disease is atherosclerosis.
