Based on our previous studies, which disclosed that METTL3 promoted TMZ resistance in GBM cell lines via increasing MGMT (O6-methylguanine-DNA methyltransferase) and APNG (alkylpurine-DNA-N-glycosylase) in an m6A-dependent manner [26], but whether GSCs or their differentiated progeny tumor cells produced TMZ resistance in such a manner, has not been clearly charified up to now.
