In colorectal carcinomas, miR-96 contributed to cell growth, directly targeting TP53INP1, FOXO1, and FOXO3a. 33Taken together, our data and the literature ones, indicate that miR-96 could play an important role in the proliferation of cancer cells and indicate its potential to be used in miRNA-based therapies for TN patients. This evidence concerns the gene TP53INP1 and cancer.
