CD19 and leukemia: Furthermore, Rozenbaum et al. reported the high transduction efficacy of γδ T cells compared with standard CAR T cells (60.5 ± 13.2 and 65.3 ± 18.3%, respectively) and demonstrated that γδCAR T cells targeting CD19 could be effective against CD19+ cell lines in vitro and in vivo and could also kill CD19 antigen negative leukemia cells [104].
