The distribution of T cells in the MLN of COPD-induced mice revealed an increased number of CD4+, CD8+, CD4+/CD69+, CD62L−/CD44high+ cells compared to the normal group, but these cells decreased significantly with SGE treatment (p < 0.05, p < 0.01, and p < 0.001; Table 2, lower rows). This evidence concerns the gene CD8A and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
