NLRP3 and gout: Li et al. [108] have demonstrated that curcumin could alleviate MSU crystal-induced gouty arthritis by inhibiting NLRP3 inflammasome mediated by the NF-κB signaling pathway in both primary rat abdominal macrophages in 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide (MTT)- and MSU-induced gouty arthritis rat models.
