RA patients receiving curcumin (500 mg) had significantly reduced erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), disease activity score 28 (DAS28), swollen joint count (SJC), tender joint count (TJC), visual analog scale (VAS) pain, and VAS activity, and C-reactive protein (CRP) significantly decreased only in the curcumin group [92].
