CRP and Increased total leukocyte count: Regarding the laboratory abnormalities, both leukopenia and leukocytosis, lymphopenia, thrombocytopenia, abnormal renal function parameters and elevated values of C-reactive protein levels (CRP), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), D-dimer, erythrocyte sedimentation rate and procalcitonin have been reported [8,9,10].
