Similar results were found in eight studies which analyzed long-term changes in RNFL thickness after multiple anti-VEGF treatment: either in the same eye during a period of one year [3] or longer [16], or compared treated eye with the fellow eye with dry AMD [14,18,19,20,21], or with patients with untreated AMD [22], or with healthy subjects [14]. Here, VEGFA is linked to dry age related macular degeneration.
