(2018) reported that knocking down ALDH1B1 by siRNA in osteosarcoma cell lines (U2OS and SAOS) resulted in increased chemosensitivity against doxorubicin [162], and Zhu et al. (2022) demonstrated that high ALDH1B1 expression levels in nasopharyngeal carcinoma may be associated with increased patient’s age and increased chemoresistance [158].
