In the O. australis genome, 113 MFS and four ABC transporters, five mycotoxins, 29 enterotoxins, 12 protein tyrosine phosphatase—PTP, and one ubiquitin-activating enzyme E1-like were identified, which are also considered essential domains for understanding the infection process and pathogenesis, in addition to the biology of the species. This evidence concerns the gene ABCG2 and infection.
