Univariate analysis incorporating sex, age, etiology, hypertension, diabetes, ascites, portal velocity, total bilirubin (TB), albumin (Alb), and international normalized ratio (INR) was used to identify factors associated with the divergence between WHVP and PP, which was only associated with the PA-HSOS etiology and hypertension [OR: 0.11 (95% CI 0.01–1.00); p = 0.049; vs. OR: 0.19 (95% CI 0.04–0.83); p = 0.027]. The gene discussed is ALB; the disease is Ascites.
