LAG3 and neoplasm: Recent human and mice studies investigating tumor immunology emphasize the importance of the LAG-3 molecule in PD-1 immunotherapy [21], since the simultaneous inhibition of LAG-3 and PD-1 increases the antitumor immunity of antigen-specific T cells compared to the single blockade either by PD-1 or by LAG-3 alone [21,50].
