Complement component 1, q subcomponent binding protein (C1QBP, also known as p32 or hyaluronan binding protein 1 or globular C1q binding protein), which is predominantly localized in the mitochondria, has been associated with several cancers including the ovary, endometrium, breast, prostate and pancreas (reviewed in [12]).
