Blockade of the CD47-SIRPα interaction using humanised antibodies to CD47 (Hu5F9-G4) has yielded promising preclinical results in a number of human malignancies including paediatric brain tumours: medulloblastoma, atypical teratoid rhabdoid tumours, primitive neuroectodermal tumour, paediatric glioblastoma, and diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma [289]. Here, CD47 is linked to atypical teratoid rhabdoid tumor.
