Subsequent GO and KEGG analysis showed that the highly expressed miRNAs were enriched in many signal pathways or processes related to HF growth and development, and epidermis development, such as TGF-beta, Notch, Hippo, Hedgehog, VEGF, Rap1, mTOR, and ErbB signaling pathways, and pathways regulating the pluripotency of stem cells, cellular response to epidermal growth factor stimulus, regulation of epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition, and canonical Wnt signaling pathway (Figure 3A and Supplementary File S1). This evidence concerns the gene EGF and hydrops fetalis.
