Six of them were largely associated with melanogenesis and pigmentary traits, in different ethnic groups (MC1R, HERC2, OCA2, TYR, TYRP1, SLC45A2) [39,60,61]; other have been previously reported to be related with: hair color, hair measurement, suntan, sunburn, but also with non-melanoma skin carcinoma, cutaneous melanoma, pigmentary retinopathy and oculocutaneous albinism, (ADAMTS12, AMACR, CHMP1A, DPEP1, GAS8, RXFP3, SPATA33 and SPIRE2) [24].
