Our findings about the impact of postnatal Poly(I:C) stress on cAMP-related processes (e.g., Staphylococcus aureus infection, tumor necrosis factor -TNF- signaling, regulation of endothelial cell apoptosis, and regulation of angiogenesis) relates to reports that disruption of CREB function in adult forebrain neurons is associated with establishment in the hippocampus of sub-inflammatory conditions [21].
