Interestingly, our findings show that the abundance of several serum proteins, including cystatin-M (Q15828), β2-microglobulin (P61769), and leucine-rich α2-glycoprotein (P02750), is higher in AAD patients as compared to that in AMI patients, but these serum proteins are reported to show lower abundance in AAD patients compared to that in acute myocardial infarction (AMI) patients and healthy controls [18]. This evidence concerns the gene LRG1 and acute myocardial infarction.
