A combination of anti-PD-1 (25 mg/kg) and anti-CTLA4 (25 mg/kg) given every 3 days for five doses led to lymphocytic myocarditis with predominantly CD8+ cytotoxic T cells in female mice receiving any of the designated cancer cell lines, similar to the pattern observed in other models of ICI-induced myocarditis [108]. This evidence concerns the gene PDCD1 and myocarditis.
