Considering previous genetic murine models and cell line-based studies firmly demonstrated that genetic OTUD7B depletion attenuated NSCLC (non-small cell lung cancer) tumor progression largely through inhibiting the OTUD7B/GβL/Akt-pS473 signaling [19], we used NSCLC cells to examine effects of these 59 synthesized small molecules in suppressing Akt-pS473 signals. The gene discussed is AKT1; the disease is non-small cell lung carcinoma.
