At present, miR-625-5p has been identified as a novel biomarker of immunotherapy response in advanced non-small-cell lung cancer patients [29], and miR-625-3p, which is another product of miR-625 modification, promotes cell migration and invasion via inhibition of SCAI in colorectal carcinoma cells [30]; however, there are few studies on miR-625-5p in colorectal cancer, and its biological function is not clear. Here, SCAI is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
